Writing for SCST Update

SCST Update is a professional newsletter which aims to publish features that are interesting, thought-provoking, and of use to cardiac physiologists and support workers. We hope that you will support us by writing for SCST Update as your work will be of interest to others.

Letters to the editor

A letter is the simplest way to communicate your opinions. Be brief and concise and focus on just one idea.

News and feature articles

•          Please write in an accessible style. Look at articles you and your colleagues have enjoyed reading.

•          Spell out abbreviations the first time you use them.

•          Avoid jargon, or explain it: not all your readers will be specialists.

•          Photographs are very welcome, but they must be clear and of good quality and you must obtain written consent to publication
      from patients or carers. Scanned images from books and magazines cannot be used for copyright and technical reasons.
