TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES

This resource of the pages accessed from here are a collection of training documents pulled together by colleagues in the United Kingdom.

The SCST has allowed these pages to appear on its website in the interest of mutually providing material to support education and training of staff in Cardiology. Whilst the aim of this resource is to provide material for trainees undergoing the Clinical Physiology degree it can be used by anyone in Cardiology.

The aim of these pages is to share information and enable easy access to training resources developed by cardiac physiologists. The resources made available include notes and power point presentations which have been collated for use by cardiac physiologists to support training and Continuing Professional Development.

This is by no means an exhaustive list and the future vision would be to expand this facility and encourage members to contribute and share their own work.

The information provided within these resources has been collated over many years and the original source of the material is not intentionally plagiarised.

No profit has or will be made on the resources provided within this section and the SCST will act as a conduit, for this facility but have no ownership of the individual presentations and notes and currently makes no comment on whether the material is suitable.
It is intended in the future to mark against each document whether or not the document is approved by the Society or not. The aim of this methodology is to enable material to be viewed before and during the inevitable long time it would take for approval.

If you would like to contribute towards this web page with presentations, notes or other resources please contact; webmaster@scst.org.uk

Discussion surrounding Training & Development issues e.g. programs, strategies should be directed towards the Training & Development virtual group.

Please contact;

Lauren Butler Cardiac Physiologist Training & Development Officer, Lancashire & South Cumbria Cardiac Network.

The SCST cannot be held responsible for any material that is on these pages as the aim is to provide a facility that colleagues can share their material with others. Perhaps, after some time, these documents can be combined into a formal UK training document supporting the training of staff.

The colleagues submit these documents in good faith and hope that other colleagues in other centres would be willing to submit documents to be provided on the website. They would welcome comments as to the documents accuracy and relevance and hopefully we can generate a standard set of information which can be used by us.

All documents and presentations on this site are by Lauren Butler unless otherwise stated and thanks go to these authors for allowing their material to be published.
