Society Examinations
Different examinations apply to different categories of staffing.
If you are currently employed as a Clinical / Cardiac Physiologist and would like information about the Professional Body examinations please click HERE
If you are employed as an Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) in Cardiology or as a Cardiographer please click HERE

If you are an experienced member of the profession would have liked to have taken the membership exam, please note that as of March 2005 this examination and any processes around it are being rethought and it will be some time before anything replaces it.

The Examinations run by the Society are for
Certificate in ECG (for Cardiographers/Student Cardiac
Physiologists, ECG proficiency for those not employed in
Cardiology in a technical/scientific capacity, ASCST Pt I, ASCST Part II.
FSCST is not awarded by examination.
Results The results of any Society examinations are reviewed by an examination board meeting generally one month after the examinations. Results confirmed at that meeting will notified to the candidates in writing..
