13/10/09 The updated version of
the Individual Record of Clinical Practice for Cardiology is now
available. Now in Trainee section.
This should be used by all students embarking on the BSc Clinical
Physiology (Hons) Cardiology in 2009. All students who are already part
way through their degree should continue to use the 2005/2006 version.
Changes have been made following extensive consultation with students,
work-based assessors and Internal Verifiers. The changes reflect the
current demands of the workplace. Whilst the student is being asked to
submit more work at the Part 1 examination, the workload involved with
part 2 has been reduced. The new format is easier to use and follows a
logical pathway through the clinical procedures. We are confident that
it will prove to be an even better tool in helping to produce a Cardiac
Physiologist who is fit for purpose.
